1994 Dawes Limited Special Edition Mountain Bike

  

Special limited edition Dawes mountain bike from 1994. Number 176 of only 250 made.

The paint design is spectacular. These are hard to find because of the limited number made. I've researched the model and you won't find it in any Dawes catalogue. I think the tubing is 501 Reynolds. Dawes did a 653 Reynolds tubing racing bike in the same paint job which can be found in their catalogue. This particular bike has had the odd upgrade in its time, including suspension forks and the Shimano DX V brakes instead of the centre pull originals. With the saddle positioned as is it would suit someone about 5'09' tall, but the saddle will go up a few inches.
